VIDEO: Specialist school for blind ballet dancers in São Paulo



This is a report on a ballet school in São Paulo which has developed a method of "teaching by touch" in order to develop professional ballet dancers who are blind or visually impaired.




 Approximately 300 dancers have graduated from the school since it was founded in 1995..

This just show that everyone should be treated equally. Although these ballet dancers are disabled, this excel in other areas that not all normal people are good at.

This type of dance is suits people who are visually impaired. Graceful moves are needed here and I think that blind people may not have any problems with it unlike in modern dance where they may need to see.

I think it's great that there are ballet school for blind persons because I believe their handicap shouldn't be a hindrance to their love of dancing. This also goes for music schools that offer classes to blind persons.
